A source close to Hannity told DailyMail.com that due to Earhardt's early weekday morning shifts in Fox's New York studio co-hosting Fox & Friends, the pair will mostly only get to see each other at weekends.
But the mother of one and 17-year Fox veteran believes their relationship will stay strong as they rely on each other for love and support on the days away from their fast-paced jobs.
A Fox insider said the network is keen to keep its top talent happy, hinting that the way could be open for Earhardt to work from Florida on occasion to be near her man – and added that Hannity would still be regularly visiting New York regularly.
One source close to the couple told DailyMail.com: 'They had only seen each other on weekends given Ainsley lives in the city and Sean was on Long Island, so the only difference now is that they will be traveling by plane instead of a car back and forth to Long Island.'
The evening TV anchor revealed his move on Tuesday during his iHeartRadio talk show, broadcast live from his studio in Florida.
'We are now beginning our first broadcast of my new home, and that is in the free state of Florida. I am out. I am done,' he said.
Hannity cited the Republican leadership, lower taxes, warmer weather, and the political troubles of New York as his reasons for making the leap.
