BigFoot – Power System
Titan 550 Motor BIGFOOT comes equipped with a powerful Titan 12T 550 modified motor for some serious rock crushing torque, hardcore wheelies, and just about any other off-road 4-wheel fun demanding real horsepower. The Titan features an over-sized armature that is equipped with 12-turns of pure copper wire for big torque and increased power-handling capabilities.
The integrated cooling fan lowers the running temperatures, Which provides extended run times. The Titan 12T requires very little maintenance and provides consistent torque and high speeds from one run to the next, without fading.
Transmission – The Magnum 272 BIGFOOT’s Magnum 272 transmission is assembled with all metal gear internals riding on ultra-smooth sealed ball bearings. This Combined with the smooth 48-pitch gears, The power is delivered quietly to the durable telescoping U-joint driveshafts.
The sealed gearbox protects the transmission components from dirt and rocks. The molded motor plate now includes finned cooling channels where the motor mounts to the motor plate. The cooling channels work well with the internal Titan 12T motor fan to pull air through the motor for superior cooling.
XL-5 Electronic Speed Control BigFoot’s XL-5 ESC. Designed and engineered by Traxxas, the XL-5 Electronic Speed Control handles the elements while smoothly supplying power to the motor. 3-channel Micro Receiver with Fail-Safe Security
The TQ 2.4GHz micro receiver fits easily into almost any vehicle and features dual channel-1 steering outputs. The integrated LINK button makes it fast and easy to bind the receiver, and the two-color LED indicates power-on and bind status for fool-proof control and convenience.
The receiver comes already connected to the vehicle. In the event of signal loss due to an accidental transmitter switch-off or depleted batteries, the receiver will automatically return the throttle to neutral and hold the last commanded steering position. The Fail Safe programming is conveniently built-in and does not need to be set or activated.

Wow! I just received my Traxxas Bigfoot #1 the other day, took it out of the box and was impressed, the finish and paint on the body is nice! Put it all together, which was basically just charging the battery, locking it down and then installing body with all the supplied body washer and pins. Turned it on and wow, this thing is fast! Although I need to put the wheelie bar I order with it on, cause otherwise ya just scuffing up the nice chrome rear bumper. I am 43 years old and this is my first RC in over 25 years. I am amazed at how far these RC trucks have come since I was a kid. Traxxas makes this truck fun for even an adult kid like me, and it has hit a curb, plenty flips, and rolls and still just ask for more. Although I really am getting better at controlling it because the body is just too beautiful to scratch all up! Anyway, I would recommend this to anyone, for the money it is plenty of fun and entertainment.

Awesome! I bought it for my 5-year-old, and I play with it more than he does. If you are new to R/C like me, just expect things are going to break when you… I mean your kid is driving it. You will have to order parts at some point and get some YouTube lessons in repair. Easy stuff though, but it can add up. Just be aware of that.
Original Monster Truck – BigFoot Thoughts
The Traxxas BigFoot is a really impressive RC monster truck. This truck handles great off-road and does some pretty awesome wheelies too. “If” you’re running it on dirt, don’t stand too close. The BigFoot will throw some serious rooster tails, which is really cool to see.
This is a monster truck I would totally recommend to anyone looking for an off-road RC monster truck. The details Traxxas has put into the bodywork is truly amazing. Makes you almost want to put the body up and find a different body to run and beat up.
